The Olympic Torch was run through our neighbourhood on Tuesday. An hour of waiting on the side of the road while the crowd gathered, and then about ten seconds for the Torch Bearer to run by. Some people said it was a fantastic experience and some people said that they felt empty afterwords. I guess it’s all in the expectations.
